Scott County Auditor Announces Schedule for Absentee Ballots for June 4 Primary Election

DAVENPORT – Scott County Auditor Kerri Tompkins announced the period to submit requests for absentee ballots by mail for the June 4 Primary Election is now open. Iowa law allows county auditors to accept absentee ballot requests no more than 70 days before an election. “Please plan ahead if you know you will not be able to vote in person on June 4th,” said Tompkins.

The completed absentee ballot request form is due in our office by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 20.

Request forms are available in the office (M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), via download from the Auditor’s webpage or the Auditor’s Office will mail forms to voters upon request, 563.326.8631. The request form link is below:

Other important absentee ballot dates are below:

-May 15 is the first day that absentee ballots for the Primary Election can be mailed and in-office voting begins, 600 W Fourth Street in Davenport.
