During calendar year 2018 voters will be asked to show their ID before voting at the polls. Anyone who does not have the necessary ID will be asked to sign an oath verifying their identity, and will be allowed to cast a regular ballot.*
July 2018 injunction outcomes:
The early voting period has been restored to 40 days prior to the November 8th General Election –September 27th.
Absentee voters are not required to provide an ID number on applications for absentee ballots.
County auditors are barred from rejecting an absentee ballot if they believe a voter’s signature doesn’t match the signature on record.
