Scott County Auditor Announces Local Nominations Being Accepted for November 5 Partisan General Election

DAVENPORT – Scott County Auditor Kerri Tompkins announced that her office is accepting nomination papers from candidates for non-party political organization (NPPO) candidates, candidates nominated by petition and Democratic, Libertarian and Republican parties’ nominations to fill ballot vacancies for the November 5 General Election. The filing period ends at 5:00 pm Friday, August 28, 2024.

The county offices up for election this year include Sheriff, Auditor, and two Supervisors. In addition, Ag Extension, Soil and Water, Park View Water and Sanitary District and Township Trustees/Clerks.

“I encourage candidates to please turn in documents early to allow time for review,” said Tompkins.
